What can one do to protect this vulnerable piece of equipment from possible coolant leaks, or a spilled drink? A zapped BeCM scares the heck outta me. Has anyone taken preventative measures, and what did you do?

It has been covered a few times so should come up with a search. Try "sealing becm" in advance search on this forum

i've been thinking about it since I bought mine a few years ago. i still have not done anything. I think spray on electric liquid tape will work.

Something many folks forget is that the BeCM lid is a big heat sink. THey spray, coat, box up etc thei BeCM and then wonder why the component fry. If you insist on taking on the project of making your BeCM water tight don;t forget to allow for heat disapation.
