I am about to do my first engine swap in a Rover.
Is there any special order, things need to be done in on a rover?
I am planning on removing the engine, and transmission from my 1990 3.9l
(1990 extremely rusted out body, about to fall apart, only payed $200 two years ago)
and going to put it in a 1993 country with a LWB 4.2 that has a blown motor
(i know backwards of most swaps, but its what i got to work with)
( 1993 has excellent body, garage kept, picked her up fer $900 last week)
will the engine and tranny both be an exact match, or will i need to swap trannys?
and is there anything extra i should know?
Also any tips from the experts out their?

Going to try to do this swap as quick as possible any hints or tricks can/will help.
The 1990 is my daily driver i actually deliver pizzas in her 5 days a week

Thanks Jamey g.

I know the trannys are the same, try to do a search on the topic. I remeber reading about taking of the intake plenum to gain access to some hard to reach bolts
