Problem in the steering columm
Hello to everyon. The car is Range rover sport super charge model 2014 I have accident I do not now whether to called it medium or big accident, anyway I have fixed the vehicle very well except the air bags. Know when I drive the car I have found out there is small gap or lossness in the steering wheel when I turn the steering wheel left or right. So I took it to the dealer and the dealer here is outrageous very expensive he told me you have problem in steering column or the joints of the steering column we have to open and see. I was searching in the interne to find out how this steering column can be fixed it is hard work has anybody have changed the steering column. he told me peaceful maybe this will lock then you have problem that you cannot control the vehicle,.
I need good advice in this matter.

You need to turn the steering wheel back and forth and see where the slop is coming from. Either the column, linkage, the rack or suspension components after the rack. It shouldn't be hard to isolate where it is coming from. Possibly the rack is not mounted securely or correctly.
