So wife informed me that the passenger push to pop out cup holder on the dash, broke and dropped a tension spring (metal band that is in the retracted shape of a straw about .5 inches long.) Is this a simple fix or bite the bullet and find a replacement. I know how to remove the offending cup holder but would like some intel if its worth my time to try and fix. A hundred bucks is a hundred bucks.

ours is toast also and i think a few of the smaller bits disappeared. have not fixed it for the same reason. maybe a failed one at a breaker would yield enough parts to repair it.
