Plastic door trims

Hi to all, The plastic trim around the door glass on my 1995 P38 is really getting bad and I would like to change it on all four doors, but it’s unavailable, the trims have been on back order now for three months and don’t look like arriving any time soon, I had hoped to change these before winter as I wanted to re-spray the door tops at the same time if any dealers looking in have these in stock please let me know I would prefer new but would consider S/H if in good condition.

I'm not quite sure whether you mean the rubber seal or the plastic / black colour on the doors - if it¨'s the black part: Have you tried to find some at a local shop that makes signs for shops etc. They usually have lots of different materials and qualities - worth a try....

As for the rubber - how about a Secondhand dealer - is it Scotty here on the Forum (can't remember the name) he might be able to help!

you've the luck to have dozens of LR junkyard in GB. :think:

Hi to all, It's the rubber part that i need but most breakers won't remove them from the door, and i don't want to fit a part that may already be on it's way out, the new one's are about £ 45.00p each but as i said not available at present.

A used door is no more than 50 euros here in France. I believe some may be cheaper at some GB breakers.
