I need to have the above replaced. It looks like I can get a genuine part for $188 or an aftermarket (Proline) for $99. In the case of a bearing would the price difference be worth it? Second part- If I'm having the differential taken apart should I also buy the differential carrier bearings? RTC3095.

Thanks.

4 bearings and a seal are required for a diff rebuild , might be cheaper to find a secondhand one if available, Ashcroft transmission is good place to start for parts .i do not recommend replacing just one bearing.
