Hello all.

I purchased a Pertronix distributor and flame thrower coil to match.
Says it is a drop in replacement.
It did go right in.
Here's my question.
There's the ignition module on the original, but not on the pertronix.
Only a red wire and a black wire.
Do I just send the red to positive on the coil and black to negative and then I'm done? And just let the Ign module wire hang there?

Yep that’s what the Pertronix wiring diagram shows. FYI that’s how we wired up mine when we fitted it. As FYI I fitted a pertronix distributor with Ignitor 11 and MSD 8223 coil however the Ignitordistributor was faulty. Car ran poorly the advance was all over the place. Ended up replacing the Ignitor 11 with older style Ignitor - which uses a different coil like a Bosch SKU12R car now runs perfect.
