An old uncle of mine recently died.
He was a land Rover parts dealer but unfortunately died owing nearly £20,000 to the inland revenue in back taxes and left no liquid assets to pay this debt.
All his assets have been frozen and I need to pay this debt to recover them.
Amongst his assets was a warehouse and land (mortgage free and wholly owned), for which I have been offered £750,000, and twenty (20) "PARCEL TRAY SUPPORT for 1996 Rangie".

However right now I cannot afford to pay the £20,000 debt to recover the warehouse, land and parts.
If you were to pay this £20,000, then I would give you 40% (£300,000 to you) of the proceeds of the sale of land and warehouse and all (100%) of the PARCEL TRAY SUPPORTs.
If you are interested in this offer then pleasse email me back and I will supply you with my bank details for money transfer.

@Tim(Scotland), I was really going to ignore your remark, but I just could not let go.I actualy thought that this forum was for serious minded individuals but am surprised to see feeble minded adults being allowed to make comments on issues when they have nothing important to say.Everybody can be insulting when they need to so please remenber that when making comments on this forum.I will hope such comments will not repeat itself.

@ others who felt the numbskulls input was funny well all I can say to you is that dirt attracts dirt.

@996turbo,Well any supplier who does not want to sell to Nigeria, all i can say is good riddance. You will find more Landrover/Rangrover in Ikoyi a single street in Lagos than you will find in the city you live in.And there are suppliers who still sell to Nigeria.and besides it takes a crook to know a crook or should i say a thief to catch a thief.

@rrtoadhall, kindly forward the site for the rimmer bros.It is really not urgent but i bought the rangie from a guy who did not take good care of it and am trying to put it back together.

Edable,

This bulletin board is too serious some times.
My apologizes if you've taken it personally.
I'm convinced that there's much more luxurious cars in Africa than in Europe.

You really need to lighten up.
I think you will struggle to get away from mentions of Nigerian scams on the internet. Here's another feeble-minded numbskull banging on about it
http://www.rangerovers.net/rrsused.html#scams
You'd be best off avoiding his websites.

More Land Rover dealers in his city than your country though...

Seriously though, I do admire that fact that you're trying to sort out all the issues of the RR you've bought. Especially that you want to keep the air suspension.
And if you wish to buy used parts then Equicar are breaking 8 p38s and Famous Four are breaking 5.

Timbo,

I knew it was "fake" when you didn't mention that you would be sending a cashiers check for payment....nice try. No foolin some of us on this forum......to the original poster, you haven't gotten the point about updating your location which increases response level and adds more credibility against poking fun like just happened. Good luck with the parts search but I would agree that a breaker that ships would be your best bet. You will just have to pay with a real credit card and have a conversation about how you are NOT a scammer like the stereotype that permeates the entire web from Nigeria.

Cheers,

Art in San Jose

I had a great time in Nigeria, Lagos was abit of a nightmare and roads from north to south to a city called Calabar needed negotiating with skill....but I wouldnt say it was my favourite spot cos that goes to Cameroon.

Sadly in todays modern times scamsters have caught onto how to bang away at a keyboard and scam people, most of it comming from Nigeria
