new here hi all-

hoping some poor bugger has had same problem

95 p38 been towing hired trailer that had short in parkers.

now i have no LH parkers front or back is not globes -have no power

can anybody tell me where power comes from or how to trace problem

i have donor vehicle but dont know what to replace or where to find it

also purchased online manual and ended up with corrupted files-

That diagram won't help as it is for an L322. Power for the lighting circuits comes directly from the BeCM, no fuses as it self protects. If there is a short on a circuit it cuts power to that cicuit until the short is removed. You will also usually get a bulb blown message on the dash.

Has your truck got an adapter box installed to convert from Euro 5 wire to US 4 wire trailer lights?
It will be found in the right rear corner behind the access door for the taillights and fuel flap release.
It plugs into a dedicated plug there.
If someone has just added trailer wires without quite understanding the wiring, you can end up with lots of interesting problems with lights.
As Richard says, the circuits are electronically protected. all should go back to normal when the offending trailer is unplugged.
