Ok, recently bought a 1994 classic to use/fit out for bush camping duties. When I purchased the car the previous owner had ditched the eas for coils. I hate coils!!!! to many years in p38's with eas
Anyway I went down the track of re-birthing the system. I soon found that many of the components are getting hard to buy through my various suppiers. So i started down the track of using p38 gear, which I had kicking around the workshop.
I now have the system working well on a p38 valve block and driver module with the ecu still being classic and even a timer delay unit out of a p38!!
My next move is to mount the whole unit above the cd stacker unit inside the car, behind the RH rear moulding. my reasoning is that the p38 unit is not designed to be submerged like the classic, and I pursonally like electronics out of the dust/mud/sand/water.
Regards Russell.
