Hi
My friend has a 3ltr diesel Range rover.

He has been told (after 13 months on a new box) he needs a new auto box. The dealer will not do under warranty as they had replaced it 13 months prior and it was guaranteed for 12!

He's taken it to a gearbox specialist who has checked the box and told him there's nothing wrong with it!

However, it is showing a P1260 error for fuel supply valve.

My question. Would this error cause a juddering when in kickdown.?
I would say it would cause hesitation but not juddering.

He loves his car but is more than a little peeved with the Landrover dealership in Canterbury, Kent.

Any feedback would be appreciated :thumb:

So, is his fuel pressure not high enough? Is there starvation when the gearbox kicks down and fuel demand increases?

He's going in for it to be looked at today with an independant.

I just didn't think it would cause shudder through starvation. We'll see later today :thumb:
