Wasn't a huge fan of the silver plastic paddler shifters, so I ordered the aluminum ones from VelocityAP (thanks Stuart!) in black. They feel much more premium and I like the sensation of cold metal.

My two gripes: 1) that there's a little bit of play between the paddle and the part of the steering wheel that they are pinned to and 2) these are a bit taller than they need to be on something like a RRS--maybe VelocityAP can make a version that's about 75% the height for our vehicles.

Installation took about 45 minutes. I had to file down the hole that the pin goes in on the aluminum part to get the brass pin to fit. Not sure where the little bit of play is coming from, but it's only noticeable if I go out of my way to jiggle the paddle shifter. I tested it out and it's not noticeable under normal operating conditions. They're stiff enough that you can activate them from the very top, which is nice.
