I'm just over a week of having my first RR. I remember 15 years ago (I was about that age too), I somehow discovered them and was so drawn to their elegance. I'm also drawn to older Beemers for their boxy styles. I got the BMW first a few years ago.
Then I started going through a lot of life transformation in the last few months, and I must have found the Rover-shaped hole in my soul that was missing all of these years, because when I discovered this 2005 HSE I was consumed by it. Couldn't get it out of my mind, and not having bought it would have been excruciating. Maybe others can relate? I actually know that I was guided to this specific vehicle. I researched so many other HSEs in this year range but none of them lured me in like this one.
This photo in the leaves from the dealer was so captivating to me. Giverny green exterior + those wheels = perfect. The orange leaves give it such an artistic contrast. The dealer listed the interior as charcoal but I really lucked out: it's aspen green! This combination of wheels + exterior color + interior color = custom-made for my soul. All three elements appear to be rare on their own, so I was sold on first glance. In my personal Rover fantasy, it's like someone ordered it just right in 2004 and then maintained it all of these years for me!
I needed to show it off somewhere besides the backyard, so here it is.
