Re: 2018 Rear lights Range Sport L494 Facelift in 2014Model

Once I get back home this weekend I will. I did pop this off though after I installed.

Re: 2018 Rear lights Range Sport L494 Facelift in 2014Model

Took some pictures today in the sunlight that had more scenery than my driveway. Think they look nice with the red (and all colors really).

I thought I’d start a new thread where we can share our experiences with Glohh and not go off topic on other folks’ threads.

I ordered mine for $1200 USD on Wednesday evening EST. Purchase link here: https://shop.glohh.com/en_us/gl5i

I received shipping notification via DHL on Thursday morning. I received the taillights on Friday morning with their free one day express shipping from the UK.

I used Atlantic British’s YouTube video as a guide for the install but didn’t need any fancy tools, just a torx screwdriver. Video here: https://youtu.be/3OeNb9aqDEE
I also took advice from fellow member hodog16 to be careful with the plastic trim piece in order to prevent breaking the clips. Removing the original lights can be done with a simple rocking back and forth - no trim removal tool is needed. Replacing the plastic trim piece was the most difficult part.

Here’s a video of my vehicle in Fuji White with the brakes, reverse gear, and hazards engaged:

Here are some pictures from the day of first install:

Feel free to share your experiences with glohh as well as pics and vids for future/potential customers of aftermarket taillights.

Looks nice. What is your opinion of fitment? I'm always weary of parts such as these where panel gap can be quite noticeable.

As an aside, I need to reach out to them as for some reason they explicitly omitted SVR from the face-lift models. It is only listed for 13-17.

I have them also and the fitment is excellent. Zero issues with gaps. Like the stock lights, the holes that bolt them to the body are slightly larger than the bolts themselves so you can align them to get the gaps perfect before locking them down tight.

As mentioned above, the black trim that covers the holes is the hardest part. Just very fiddly. Unlike the light bolt holes, theres zero slop between the slot in the light and the tab on the trim piece, and theres some weatherstripping to get rolled back over it...plastic trim tools are you friend here. It just takes some patience to get it all lined up and fitted so its all looks exactly as it was stock. But in the end it looks mint. Takes 5 minutes to remove fit the lights and took me 15 to get the drivers side trim back in perfect for some reason on mine. Passenger side went in first shot.

Another happy Glohh customer. Super quick delivery w/ DHL (faster than informed) but I did get slapped with an import duty of about US $110 in Taiwan.

No problem with installation. Was quicker to put on the lights than putting back the factory plastic cover piece next to the lights.

Agree installation was a breeze except for the plastic trim pieces.

Just got an email that Glohh has partnered with LR Canada so you can buy and have these taillights installed at dealerships in Canada.

Hey guys. Not sure if this is allowed but I may slide into an 18 earlier than expected so I’ll have a set of Glohh GL-5i’s with about 1 month of use on them up for sale in Los Angeles.

Wished you posted this 2 weeks earlier, then I would have taken them off your hand.

They will fit onto the 2018s

Can't speak to the wiring but there are refreshed 2018+ sports with the glohh tail light, so it's possible.

Ah then that makes sense. Shouldn't have any trouble reselling them, congrats if the move to the 2018 does happen.
