I probally answered my own question but when the famous abs/traction control lights come on do that mean that it wont perform as intened on trails cause of the fault in the system? Planning a little trip with a group and just wondered about it. It comes and goes like everyone else. Thanks

What do you mean? Is your system coming on when the wheels are not slipping? Or are just the lights on for no reason?

I don't really find the ABS that effective to be honest. I'm not sure if mine is working 100% (no reason that it shouldn't be), but it doesn't seem to be able to completely brake one wheel and transfer torque to the other when off road.
It's a pretty agricultural system to be honest- scares me sometimes when braking on wet roads as completely cuts braking force for far too long.
So I'm sure you truck will cope fine if it's working or not... maybe better without!
