I have the fuel pump changed and the fuel gauge was reading incorrect, so the shop calibrated the gauge and at doing so removed the cluster and test dove the car.
In the end when picked up the car with the gauge fixed, upon starting and shutting off the odometer error displays on my dashboard.
Shop says cannot find a way to fix the error.
Does somebody knows if dealer can do it?

The odometer reading is stored in the BeCM AND instrument cluster. If hte reading do not match an error is generated. You can ignore it or you can ahve the shop pay to have the BeCM unlocked and the odometer reading paired.

Scotty can now unlock and program the correct mileage into the BECM for you.
Either you or the shop will be paying for it though, so be prepared.
Why did they ever drive it without the clocks installed? No logical reason I can think of, unless they just wanted to drive around in your rig that is.......
