As you drive, is the noise still present and is it intermittent? It may be the chain in the transfer case. They slip before failing and the noise gets worse as occurs

It goes away when accelerating, and is dramatically less prevalent after engine/trans is warm. Truck drives great. I’d imagine a slipping chain would make quite a noise.

Could be one or both of your catalytic converters, put a screwdriver up against them and press the handle next to your ear to see where the noise is coming from. You can do that for ant part you suspect the noise maybe coming from.

Definitely not coming from catalytic converters. Noise is coming from bell housing area.
