Whilst in the spanish part of the Pyrenees I gat an EAS fault(not hard fault).
Can't remember the exact wording or code  , but it was something to do with a valve constantly open.
Now having thought about it and the conditions we were driving in, I am wondering
if it could have been caused by the heat of the day.
It was about 14:00 according to the display 38°C and we were using low range for
a long time crawling up loose rocky inclines in direct sunlight.
Once we had stopped at a campsite after about 1 hour of driving on tarmac again, about 18:00
and the car had stood for about 2,5 hrs to cool, the cover for the EAS compressor was
still too hot to touch.
Once I cleared the fault it never came back again, and we continued our 5500Km adventure
without problem.
Well there was 1 problem, we forgot to film and take pictures whilst offroad  , as some of the
tracks were quite challenging :thumb:  :D

We're going back!!

this "fault" most likely was related to the high temperature that day, since it has not returned.

look forward to the photos from next time. how about a google map link to the trail location :?:
