Hi All,

We recently took delivery of a brand new Range Rover Sport P400e and have found that when we make or receive phone calls whilst plugged in and using Apple Car Play- we cant hear the other person even though they can hear us fine. Anyone else had this issue? Without car play through Bluetooth works fine!

yes, it was fixed via I think the 19B update. is it possible that yours is like way behind??

I checked for updates today and it said no update. I will let you know the exact software version it’s on when I can get a pic. The car is one month old so I would assume it has latest software

What was fixed in 19B was the other way round:
"The issue of the receiver of an outgoing call made using apple CarPlay sometimes not being able to hear the caller has been fixed"

Even with 19B installed, I occasionally have issues both ways (person can't hear me or I can't hear the other person). Sounds like its always happening to you though. Will probably need to book it to go to the dealer (either to have them "force" an update to 19B if your car doesn't already have it or to diagnose the issue if its already on the latest software).

Sorry I meant to say "19C" above. Some 2020s dont automatically show 19C as available so the dealer has to "force" it via topix.

Ahh okay thank you for your advice all. It’s on 19A and showing as up to date so will have to get it booked in.
