I just got my engine back together after a partial rebuild (rings, bearings, gaskets). I've connected a fuel pressure gauge to the shrader valve on the fuel rail and I have no pressure when I turn the key or try and start it. Where should I start my trouble-shooting?

No, but I do need to check the relay, but i'm finding conflicting info as to where it is located. Can you point me in the right direction?Did you pull the fuel pump relay to depressurize & forgot to reinstall maybe?
It is looking like the fuel pump is dead. I'm going to also check the relay.
I have 6v to the pump, is that normal?. Due to running out of time, I did not pull the pump out to test it separately, but the fact that I have power and couldn't hear it run and there was no pressure at the fuel rail, it would seem to be a bad pump.Put power straight to the pump; you'll know for sure whether the pump is good/bad and can then concentrate what may be wrong with the electronics.
Replaced the pump and it fired right up! Thanks for the tips.
