Just realized that my 2006 is not putting out any cold air. Also, with the climate control on, there is an intermittent pulsing noise that I can only describe as similar to the beat heard in electronic music. It happens every so often and seems to be no pattern. It goes away when the climate control is off. So I am trying to go about this logically. Would you recommend checking the freon and fuse first? Or move straight to the compressor? Anybody also have the pulsing issue?

I assure the clutch is not engaged. Check for leak (oil spots) on hose, and condenser. Connect to a AC manifold hose for pressure test. If there is no leak, the problem may the the AC compressor.
