So is there anyway to change the Nav working level? This thing just doesn't quit. It tells me like 5 times that I need to turn left within a 2 mile period and of course it turns itself loud as heck everytime it tries to do so. I LOVE everything else about the Nav but the voice feature. I basically just turn it off which suck because it means I have to keep one eye on the stupid thing at all times. If there's a way to turn down the warning level (I know the volume thing can't be helped) so that it doesn't warn so many times ...

Also, is there anyway to get the driver seat to go further back than the current limit? Has anyone reinstalled the rails and moved them back a couple of inches?

Regarding the seat and lack of loegroom - I could not agree more. I am looking at two things:
1) Reworking the accelerator pedal to gain more leg room - thats where I have my biggest complaint - that there is not enough leg room to the pedal.
2) Unbolting the seat from the upper rail (6 bolts I have counted so far) and moving it back 1 -2 " and rebolting. This will require a extension on the rear rail. Moving at the floor level does not look easy....

Can't you lower the pre-set / default volume of the navigation "voice" to a more tolerable level, though? I don't believe you can change the frequency of the prompts - they are either on or off - but at least on MY2006s you can change the turn-by-turn instructions volume independently of the audio system's current level (there should be a dedicated Nav volume level in the volume settings when you repeatedly press the button with a musical note icon on it.)

Yes, there is a separate NAV volume setting. But it doesn't work. That's one of the bugs. No matter where you set it, it resets itself. :(

As for the seat. I'll check with the dealer. I'm not a very tall guy, 6', I can't imagine being taller and still fitting in this car very well. I have more legroom in my MB!

I had a problem with driver seat settings, and locks. Take it into the dealer, there is a software upgrade that will fix the seat problems, not sure on the NAV.
Did the software upgrade allow the seat to go back farther?????

Are we all talking about a 2010 RRS HSE here or a different model? I see some people have their model in their signature and some don't. It could be irrelevant is this applies to more than one though I guess...
