Found this lil guy stuck in some of the chassis rails below the engine. I don't recall working on or removing this type of bolt. Curious if any of you pros know where it may have run away from.

Thanks!

looks similar to the stand-off bolt on a supercharger.

Luckily both of those seem to be present and shroud is firmly attached.

Looks like it’s been there a long time, has anything fallen off yet?

Both skid plates found a new home in the middle of a field somewhere near the US border in Saskatchewan, Canada. Casualties of hauling oilfield gear around in the mud and snow after mistakenly trusting a quick lube shop to tighten the bolts after an oil change. Luckily the friendly guys at a Rover enthusiast shop in Calgary gifted me a replacement set off a wrecked LR3. Just need to track down a replacement bolt set to put the armor back on. Unfortunately I don't believe this is one of them.

I had the drivers side Exhaust manifold replaced at one point and it was in this general location that I found the bolt.

Didn't learn my lesson with the quick lube store chain, a year or so later the dummies stripped my oil pan bolt. Never again...
