I just bought an 06 Sport today. I bought an NAC Pinnacle Protection Plan. 4 yr 50k. The price was $1970. I have a 30 day cancel window. Any experience with this company?

Did you get this through the dealer? While I have never dealt with 3rd party extended warranties, I have heard horror stories about dealers not accepting 3rd party warranties from companies they don't sell. YMMV.

So that warranty is for an additional 4 yr 50k? What kind of deductible? I don't know too much about aftermarket warranty but if that kind of offer exists when mine is about to expire, I'm going to jump on it.

So my truck is an 06 with 29k miles. The 4 yr 50k started yesteray ($100 Deductible). It will not kick in until the factory warranty is gone (21k more miles or 9/10)

I think you either bought an 8 year 100,000 mile or you bought a 4 yr 50,000 that will expire when your car hits 50,000 mil.

How many miles on your car?
Was it CPOed?

I bet it's the latter... an 8yr/100K warranty on a RRS for less than $2k is very unlikely, unless someone at LR goofed.

I was thinking more along the lines of Lord of the Warranty, with everyone trying to get a good deal on an extended warranty, but only some "height challenged" dude holds "The Precious" err the key to getting a good extended warranty.

So I called for some clarification. Warranty starts today. So it goes until 8/2013 or 79,000 miles. Anything that happens between now and Sept 2010 or 50k will be covered under factory warranty. After that, extended and $100 deductible. So did I get screwed? I just don't know much about this company NAC. I figure it would have to be decent if it was being sold at an authorized rover dealership. However, I did ask about CPO and they said it was too expensive? I have 30 days to cancel thing thing .. what do you think?

For that price and a $100 deductible and honored by your LR dealership, I would pay that in a heartbeat cause I've read posts where extended warranty was costing 3-4k. I hope that plan exists when I need it.
