Hey guys,

I've searched the forum and the net for anything related to a code 26 on my 93 classic lwb. I got bupkiss. Anyone heard of or got this mysterious code?

Thanks.

That's a good thought but the other code I was getting a lot prior to this was code 23 - so that would fill in the missing digit. It definitely was code 26 - I looked 3 times to be sure I wasn't seeing 25.

I did do a tune up over this past weekend which was probably due anyway since the plugs, rotor, cap were approaching 20K and 1.5 years old. I'll see if that code or any code returns.

I do think I may have a fuel pressure or pump issue. But it's been going on for a while now - off and on - and I've heard that when a fuel pump goes, it goes. So I'm leery about swapping parts. I should have a pressure check done and that's my inability as a DIY job not laziness.

Where was the pdf you attached based from? LR?

It's from a guys website in the u.k. Steve Heath engineering. He specialises in TVR's and Chimeras, both of which use the 14cux (albiet different software versions, i.e, they don't have a speed limeter etc). But the fault code protocol is the same. He writes and makes his own 14cux fault code readers and have seen them a few times on ebay. Personally I'd take him as genuine.
