my subwoofer is blown -- need a DIY for a 2003 HSE

anyone blow a subwoofer ?

its either blown, or perhaps the nuts have come loose

can someone either post step by step DIY instructions for replacing the sub please

I don't have a copy in front of me, but have you checked the workshop manual?

no i dont, and i always have issues trying to open the manual online

yup, i can never seem to get it to open or figure it out -- the Rave CD that is
The sub has a weird oval shape therefore I think it is hard to replace. But a year ago I had an unpleasant vibration in my low frequencies and it proved to be the bolt (yellow arrow in the picture) that is visible when removing the side panel (where the navdvd is). Tightening it solved the problem. To remove the side panel is quite complicated, one has to remove the C pillar trim first...

thats what i want to check first - the bolts to make sure they havent rattled loose -- i guess now i need instructions on how to open that side panel to get to the **** subwoofer

Any luck on how to step by step video of how to replace the sub powerfuluk made a video on how to replace the cone and they sell the cone at a quarter of the price of the whole enclosure. About 225 dollars instead of 800 plus.

I don't understand what is the purpose of the reply? My car is 12 years old and it still drives and there is still no step by step video or walk through so my question still valid.
