Have a few problems, maybe some could help me out on these.

1. Door only opens from outside now. Decided to do that. However, it never worked properly. The drivers door lock would stick, and lock/unlock only if you moved the button up or down, or opened with key (lock was too weak to open with remote)

2. Cracked windshield. Cheap aftermarket?

3. The HEVAC system threw an open book at me, one time only, hasn't done it since, and hadn't done it before, but still gets me nervous.

4. Headliner suggestions? Don't know how to do it myself, don't want to learn either. Want to have a shop do it, but if I go OEM, will it fall again eventually, or???

Let me remind you, the truck was bought in March. Alternator failed the day after I bought it, the windshield 3 days later. Door, 1 week after.

Except for the door lock problem, it sounds like a typical range and quick fixes.

1. Doors come off in 30 seconds with a powered screw driver. Open it up and see what is wrong

2. They make cheap windshields BUT, you will lose the front defroster. There are fine lines in the front windshield. My 97 was changed out to a cheap windshield and living in new orleans there wasnt a need for it.

3. This book light turns off??? Seriously though, its prob a blend motor heading south. EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THIS BOARD THAT HAS HAD A RANGE PAST 60K in miles has had a blend motor failure, its part of the range rover experience. Luckily there are quick, well documented how to's on how to fix this.

4. I have had multiple cars that have headliner problems. 3 out of 5 Ranges. Find a nice headliner shop, I dont think I have ever spent over 250 to change a headliner. Cheapest was 80 bucks, took the headliner out myself and brought it to them. I never went OEM but, once I have had it done It has never came down ever again. Just find the matching color and texture.

5. Alternator  Only on my 1990 did the alternator go bad. Wonder what caused it....?
