My CD NAV drive a MK3 died a few weeks ago, I found some signs of water on the top of it. Does anyone know of any place that repairs the CD drives.?

Seems a pain in the ass that you have to junk the unit and blow close to $800 on a replacement.

I posted in another thread an hour ago with the process of removal... Basically remove the bolts and pull it down... Have you done that yet? If not pull it down and check the plugs on the back, they may be oxidized and causing a short.

Clean em up, re-fit, hope for the best

If worst comes to worst, I have a 2nd CD nav unit that I no longer need that I will part with for less than $800 [Had a P38 and was going to do a retro fit of the JAMES system, but bought a MKIII instead `) ]
