Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on your site. I just got a "new to me" 2008 Buckingham Blue Range Rover Sport and I had a question. I am pretty sure I saw in the book that you can store your fridge cover in the center arm rest but I can't seem to do it, is it because of the "non used" cell phone cradel thing or am I just doing it wrong?

Thanks for any help,

John

AFAIK the tray rests above the cubby box / cool box and doesn't slide anywhere else, but if you want to make a little extra room in that storage area under the arm rest and get rid of the useless telephone cradle thingy, chop away!

I thought the book says that it slids into the top to get out of the way while using. OK new question how the heck do I get the back inside light on? I had to go into the hatch last night and I noticed a light in the rear passenger side but it didn't go on when I opened the lift gate? How do I turn on? Or think my bulb is just blown?

Maybe I should read the book, but sure, mine "slides" onto the top of the fridge to cover it while I'm using it (or while I'm not).

Sounds like the bulb, possible fuse, but I would think other lights would be out also.

The map lights above each side of the rear passenger seats do not do double duty as courtesy lights and do not turn on when you open the doors. It sucks. It is very dark back there at night. The little light in the trunk itself is a bit of a joke. Land Rover should have addressed these insufficient illumination issues long ago, but didn't.

PS: I saw those four plastic clips / retainers under the armrest lid you must be referring to, but (on my car, anyway) they seem useless. The tray is not wide enough to slide under them. Perhaps the tray provided with the cool box is wider? I don't have the cool box in my early MY06.
