and as I understand, several types of Latitudes. I imagine (and have read on some thread on this Forum) that Michelin has designed the Latitudes to be as good or better than the Synchrone. I suppose as we transition to them through attrition, we'll hear more about their performance.
I drive to my ski home almost every weekend in winter. 120 miles highway, 40 miles 4 lane mountain roads, 30 miles 2 lane winding up and down mountains. All topped off with a 3 mile treck on a single lane dirt road up a mountain then up an icy 50 meter driveway with a 90 degree turn at the apex. I have literally had to plow through snow up to the hood with the drifts. You can not pass the guard gate the final 3 miles without a 4 WD or chains in winter. I can confidently drive spirited on the interstate and in the deep snow. I did tons of reasearch and this and the WRG2 were the only 2 that fit the bill. Fortunately, the WRG2 was not released in my size at the time or purchase so the gave me the Vredestein at the same price. I will buy them again. Check out this link if you havent seen it.
