It’s a serious tire, construction feels like an XZL. I wish they still made them this way...

I have 215/85 R16 Dunlop Radial Rovers on mine. They're getting old, and the Radial Rovers are no longer in production.
What kind of tires are you guys using now?

I have LT 225 75 R16
They were on the 92 when I got it
Here are two of my original tyres
The three spoke was in my 91
And the 5 spoke was in the 92
The third I got at a junk yard
It has a steel rim
It is out in a shed
I’m hoping to find a 4th
Eventually

You may get your wish:

I am running these year-round in a LT version.

They are excellent in all conditions – they tread patter is also the closest I could find to the Michelin.

That is good news about the Michelin tyres
Also your tyres do look very close to the originals
Thanks for the information

I went with Cooper AT3 LT in 225/75r16. These are considerably larger than the 225/75’s they replaced, and I really had to fight to get the spare in its location.

LOL! I've got Cooper Discover ST/Maxx 245/75R16s. Wasn't even going to try to put it in the spare wheel well. The original Michelin is still there, but it's of no use now...
