Hi,

i am currently re-trimming the headliner of my 1990 Classic.

Getting the headliner off the car was an easy one.
But not off the Sunroof (Metal Version) i pulled/ripped the old cloth off but wont be able to refit the new one that way.

I have searched the Internet & Rave for hours - some sources say that the entire Sunroof assembly has to be removed from the car - others say not (rave says to take it more or less completely apart staying in the car).

Is anybody out there who has done this before? with the Metal roof version?

thank you so much for detailed Information in advance! :)

The best way I can think of doing it - since mine is a 1990 with a metal roof - is cutting out a piece of aluminium to the correct shape, trimming it in headlining material, and panel bonding it to the sunroof assembly.
