While checking my fluids out today, I noticed small metal shavings or pieces in my coolant resovior. Coolant is green with small metal pieces floating, almost like sand but metalic. I have an 89 Range Rover, with the metal coolant tank.. Need some suggestions on where to go from here. Engine runs fine for being completly orginal, however, valve cover gaskets are shot..

My thinking is that it could be one of the following:
1. Metal tank is bad inside. I have another to replace it.
2. Radiator is coradeing inside.
3. Water pump. Has been repaced before
4. Someting internal in the engine. Or head gasket is comming apart internal.

Thoughts?
