Hi to All, Just looking at my hand book under the heading Drivers Seat/Mirrors Memory Facility. Page 34.

It reads Your vehicle can memorise two different driver seating and mirror positions, To store the positions in the system memory the starter switch must be turned on to either position “1” or “11” and the transmission must OT be in reverse gear. I assume that this is a miss print and should read NOT in reverse gear, where this gets miss leading is that further on in the operation OT stands for One Touch, this is a 1995 hand book and this might have changed in later hand books.!!!
Best regards sillyboy

Your mirrors have two settings for each memory button. The first being the chosen mirror position while in park/moving forwarad. The second setting is while in reverse. Thus once the selctor is in reverse the mirrors will dip and you can choose a position that suits your needs while backing up.

Correct. Misprint. The function of setting once adjustments are made is to hold down the larger set button while holding down the #1 or 2 button, which memorizes the seat and mirror settings.
