Do you mean the L405 with the TD6 engine?
Do you mean the L405 with the TD6 engine?Does anyone have a maintenance schedule for the L405 - and the TD6
10k and two oil changes already!? The interval is 16,000 miles per change man!Yes - the L405 with the TD6 - and Onyx Z32 the manual itself has a chart but it's very hard to read. I was hoping for a easy to read chart. If you could scan your copy that would be great. I have 10K mi and have changed the oil twice and just rotated tires but I know there is more coming...
I don't think you can have too many oil changes, but you can certainly not have enough. Also those intervals are "average" and some of us live in areas with extreme heat and/or cold, so more frequent oil changes might make sense. I'll be taking my RR in for the second oil change and I'm at 15,000 miles. It just seems weird to go so long between oil changes ... maybe it is just some of us showing our age and what we have been used to doing for a long time!10k and two oil changes already!? This is from the "passport to service" booklet you should have gotten with your manual:
It does, but I just traded in my L322 a few months ago with 252,000 miles on it and all my oil changes since 2005 were at 15,000 mile intervals. And I live in NY with some brutal winter weather. So I think doing it anytime before the suggested is a bit much... It just seems weird to go so long between oil changes ...
No problem, and yeah if you enjoy doing it then by all means go for it!Thanks for the pic of the missing book. I have to admit - I like working on my RR. I am a new bilateral amputee and cant tell you how therapeutic it is to get back under a car. Anyway - land rover knoxville recommended 8K.
