Hi Guy's

I have a problem were my head just hits the roof with the seat wound fully down. Has anyone ever done anything to lower the seat further ie reduce the height of the mounting brackets? Does anyone have a breakdown picture of the seat assembly I could look at before pulling the seat appart?

cheers

Do you have a later model or earlier (i.e. '06 model?) I have not verified this by measuring it, but it feels like the lux pkg seats on my '08 have more padding than an '06 I sat in once, which makes the seat feel higher to me.

As it sounds like you're just off a bit on height, before modifying the seat mounting which opens up all sorts of issues, sit in one of the earlier models with the non-lux seats and see if your head still hits the roof. You might be able to get one from a junkyard cheap (assuming its a bolt in type of replacement), or just replace the padding with the '06's, or have an upholstery shop do it for you...or something like that. Just a thought.

You could try reclining the seat back a bit more... :D

Just a thought...
