Did a search of the forums and found no reference to this, nor is there any reference to this error in the owner's manual (although there's a great table on the instrument cluster display errors).

Has anybody seen this in their displays (it was coupled with a battery icon)? I theorize it was perhaps an amp returning an error but as nearly as my ears can tell, audio volume is just fine.

I've seen Low Power mode occur when you are running the radio with the engine turned off...which means it won't crank up to the full volume, usually caps out at 20 on the volume meter, while with the engine running it will go as loud as the system will allow.

It's nothing to worry about as cba20k said. It just keeps you from draining your battery. Mine does the same.

When the battery is getting a little low for whatever reason (not necessarily because the battery is failing) the system starts to go into power saving mode - one of the signs is the radio low power indication. The nest step is the radio can be switched on but there is no volume.

Normally switching the car on will bring battery charge back up and the low power message goes away. If it repeatedly comes up then look for other reasons such as a failing battery but if a one off, you maybe have been washing the car with the radio going full blast, left an interior light on or just been driving short trips and the battery is down a bit.
