i wanted to write this so it hopefully helps someone else because it drove me CRAZY

i was getting a low coolant warning all the time.... so i replaced the sensor with an aftermarket one. still did the same thing.
so i figured had to be float in the bottle. so i ordered an aftermarket one of those, installed etc. it came with a sensor. still same warning.

being a mechanic by trade, brain tells me no way the new float is crap so i figured the two aftermarket sensors were crap. went to land rover
purchased a factory one AND THE SAME PROBLEM....

still figured no way its the new bottle, paper clip jumped the sensor and the LIGHT WENT AWAY--- THANK GOD

went to land rover and bought a new OEM coolant res with OEM sensor PROBLEM SOLVED.

the point of this is dont try to save the $45 dollars on the bottle-sensor setup Just buy the factory one.....

ok sorry rant over
