Hi I have a 2000 land rover Range Rover sport HSE. I lost my keys. How can I bypass the Ignition Range Rover is on a 2 month back order for my key so I can get into the car but I have no way to start it. Can I use a screw driver or should I RIP the lower panel off and try that way. Please and thanks

The keys are just a backup for the remote. If you had a had a "spare key" cut, also known as a valet key you could open up and start your car.
Ask your dealer to cut you a valet key.

You can't bypass the ignition. You may be able to get to the wiring to simulate turning the key but all that will do is allow you to turn the ignition on. You still won't be able to start it as the immobiliser will be on and you will need a key or working, synced, fob to turn that off.

I 've just edited my longer reply...is this a p38 or a Sport? Even if you hotwired it, the steering column lock would still be in place. Whatever, when you get your new key, photograph the blade (both sides) so you can get a valet key made next time.
