Hi everyone,

After seeing how a D5 goes higher when off-road compared to the RRS, how difficult would it be to do the following:

1. replace the airbags with longer ones
2. replace the shocks with longer travel ones

or is this a stupid idea?

You MAY be able to recalibrate the top setting for wading mode, but you will be limited to the maximum travel of all four struts. Anything beyond that is strictly custom work.

Yeah, what I'm trying to figure out is how to increase the maximum wheel travel.

I can already increase the height with my IID tool, but then there is no wheel travel, so the ride is very bad.

so no one else has tried to get a bit more travel?

or a lift, without resorting to a subframe drop even?

Max ride height for the Discovery is 11.1 inches vs. 10.9 inches for the RR Sport. That's nearly identical.
