So I bought a set of front lamp guards from Ebay. I received them yesterday. They are OEM, but not original factory parts from what I can tell. They look correct, but appear to be made from solid plastic. I was under the impression that the lamp guards were a rubberized material. They look decent and seem to be strong, so I'll likely use them, but wanted to see what other people have and what they are made from.

you mean rr doesn't have good off road stuff for the MKIII?? haha - yes those rear lamp guards are worthless plastic. I had some of that clear mask put on my tail lights and headlights before i put the guards on to protect the plastic... But that is as good as it gets unless you make something custom.
