Lifted Range Rover...

Hi everyone :)

Went on the annual London to Brighton Land Rover run as I do every year with my P38.

However, this is the first year I saw a lifted P38 like this one. Thought I would take some photos for everyone's viewing pleasure.

I spoke to the man who owned this and he said he had spent a good while on getting it to this stage and had had to overcome lots of annoying issues such as the washer bottle location along with many other things. From memory (it was REALLY EARLY in the morning) it's lifted 4 inches and then has a 3 inch body lift.

Amazingly enough he is not part of this site, I told him about it so hopefully he may join up.

Enough text - here are the pics - enjoy!...

Looks like a whole lot of really well done work. Good to see it still has the air ride. Any pics of it in the different heights?
 Those sure look familiar...
No pics of it at different heights im afraid :( Looking at the airbags though I assume he was at the high ride height.

Maybe you are remembering pics from my thread that I did in 07 when I posted pics from the same event??

No, that's not it. I swear I saw pics of that rig within the past few days. I even remember thinking he should have covered his cats when he painted because one of them had overspray. That or I am having one heck of a detailed deja vu! I know, I am psycho! No... what is that other psy word?
Yeah...I saw these exact same pics a couple days ago too. Weren't they in the lifted RR thread or something?
Uh...it was yesterday. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=33932&start=15
 That will teach me to not read any previous threads and get too excited when posting :D

Different pics, same car. My shots were taken by me at Brighton.
If you want to see this Range Rover off roading go to You tube and type in lifted range rover p38 at Core 4 x 4 to see what it can do. Watch this space for more off roading videos as this vehicle is not just for show!!!!!!!!
