Hey Guys,

I'm looking to put in some Red LED bulbs in my rear map lights of my 2003 Range Rover. I do a lot of work back there when someone else is driving and it would be nice to have both rear map lights on so I can see my laptop keyboard, write on my calender, etc without flooding the whole rear seat area with light and messing up the drivers vision. Would this work? I am going to get some LED's that put out about 20 lumens in the Red color.

Will putting LED's in the map lights throw any codes?

Also, I want to get rid of the ugly yellow-ish parking lights. Has anyone put in a super white bulb or an LED that better matches the color of the HID headlights?

Thanks,

Mike

Just search ebay for 'CAMBOS led'. If you simply replace the side lights with normal LED's the system will throw up an error because LED's draw much less power than the normal bulb so the computer thinks that the bulb has failed. CAMBOS LED's are error free so you won't get any problems with these.
