Hi All,

After a pad failed/disintegrated on me and a road side recovery agent incorrectly bleeding the brakes back up, I have a very soft long brake pedal.

Land Rover don't seem interested in fixing it.

Does anyone have the full bleed procedure for a L494 Sport please?

I don't think that there is any special procedure that is unique to the L494. I thought that you bleed the brake lines as you would any other vehicle.

You need to follow Rover procedures precisely. I say that due to the frequent use of ABS, which controls solenoids for fluid control. ABS uses both pressure valves and bleed valves to control wheel speed in an ABS event. If those procedures are not followed correctly, a soft pedal might be the best scenario. The worst might be the failure of some expensive electronic components. Ray
