Hi all, just purchased this l322, it’s got a full stainless steel exhaust system which as far as I’m concerned is just far too loud! Sounds like a bloody Ferrari! Anyone know if they can be made quieter or is this what I’ve got to live with unless I put it back to standard? Thanks in advance

For some reason I can't see your image.

More importantly, I'd like to hear a clip of that Ferrari Rover!

R I’m not sure why that is?? It’s a 4.4 with what looks like straight thru pipes, will take a vid on Saturday when I’m off and will post it on here
Besides the year and model - Can you post some pictures of what the new exhaust system looks like from underneath? I am curious as to what they pulled out and what was replaced.
Send it to me... 50c stamp cover it?
Guess since he did not receive and instantaneous reply to his post, he presumed it to be lost cause and hasn’t come back.
Oh well! Cé la vie!

Sorry I have replied but for some reason they haven’t gone thru?? I’m on a stupid iPhone which is clearly not working haha it’s a 4.4 v8, will take some videos over the weekend but here some pics I have. Will take some from the underneath but actually looks like it’s straight through pipes no rear back box.
Cheers, jay

Well I think you have your answer - if it is straight pipes you have no muffler. If you want to keep the set up SS, then you will have to do some research and figure out what aftermarket muffler that is SS will fit and cut it in where the originals were. Otherwise source some OEMs and put them where they belong.
Yeah think that’s going to have to be the plan, will have a look if there is anyone wanting a stupidly loud exhaust that they want to do a deal with there nice quiet one! Lol
Here’s Ian a pic of the underneath, shows it’s straight through pipes I think.
