Hi guys, just bought this lovely 4.4 that runs on LPG but already having issues......Ran out of gas and i was stranded as it won't start/run on petrol, got it recovered to put gas in and i worked fine for a few days, now won't start at all just keeps cranking and not firing. Followed the LPG system guidelines of holding the button in to fire it up on LPG but nothing doing :-(

Have you verified you have petrol delivery to the engine? When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

The car should always start on petrol and only switch to gas when there is sufficient heat in the engine cooling system to allow the evaporator on the LPG system to work effectively. Starting on LPG is an emergency get you home only mode.

There should be an emulator that fools the fuel system into believing that the petrol pump is running. This may be an issue, or as RRToadHall suggests, a blocked filter or faulty injector connections (the gas system splices into the petrol gas injectors).
