I have a problem with the central locking on my 2003 (L322)RR Vogue. It all works as it should apart from the driver’s door not unlockingwith key fob. When the key is pressed I can hear a “clunk” noise in the door. The driver's door can be opened by inserting the key into the lock. If usingthe dashboard locking button, all doors lock and unlock apart from the driver'sdoor. I think I can deal with dismantling the door myself but need to know inadvance which replacement parts to buy. Your help and advice would be muchappreciated please.

I had almost the same issue as yours with my 2004 HSE. The difference being there was no clunk from the drivers door when the remote was pressed. I tried using a universal door actuator, a fix for the P38, but wasn't able to get it to work. I ended up getting a new driver's door latch assembly. Not tough to R&R, but make sure the drivers door window is rolled all the way up before disconnecting your battery.

Another tip, when I took my interior door trim off, some of the clip holders had come detached from the door trim. I was able to use JB Weld to re-attach them with success.
