So my key fob is basically dead now. The batteries are new and it no longer responds even if I try to resynchronize it. For awhile, the lock button did not work and only the unlock. I have read that it is not possible to buy a used key fob from another RR and synchronize it. So I guess what I am asking is, what are my options? Any help or advice is appreciated `) .

I don't think you will have seen that on this forum. New is your only option.

For me, it's a weekend drinking! `)

An AULRO member swears by a mob in Britain for fob repairs after having two of his fixed. See the link I posted above.
