This is my first post on this forum. Guess I need to get more active here seeing the repository of information out here.
After years of watching Range Rovers all around, I finally got myself a used 2018 RR Sport P400E in Autobiography trim.

It's been only a few days since I got this home and I'm yet to discover all the features that the 1st owner configured this car in. the 1st owner was in Italy and it somehow made it's way to Finland where I purchased it off of the Finnish 2nd owner. All the manuals and books are in Italian which I don't understand. it would not have been any better in Finnish coz I don't know Finnish either. I'm familiar with the concept of 'Window sticker' that cars in US get which lists out all the options on the car. That is not a concept I have been aware of in Finland atleast.

So, to start with, is there a go-to place where I punch in my VIN number and get the specs it left the production line in?

Land Rover dealer (a build sheet may be available if you ask really nicely).
VIN Decoder - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum - I find this one pretty comprehensive
VIN decoder & lookup - Vindecoderz is quite good but if you are looking for feature guides, you should start with Land Rover iGuide Online

Thanks. for some reason, my VIN gets no result in iGuide.
will check the other links.
I can see you have the 360 camera. Guess adaptive cruise control is so there. If not look at your steering control for that function. Meridian must be standard for autobigraphy. Dynamic response standard too.
what I dont know will probably be the heated steering wheel, and heated ventilated seat option. And oh yes, if you have wading sensing will be nice. Good luck.

I ran my VIN # thru the referenced site and it gave good info... However, when compared to the Sticker Window that previous owner kindly saved inside the Manual there were some options listed on the Window Sticker and I confirm their presence in daily use that the Website Missed. So it might not pick up every single option perhaps I'm thinking. I would kindly request a "Build-Sheet" from JLR myself... I've done it for our Jeeps and got prompt Sticker Invoices with all options mailed to me within a week from Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Mopar.

I have a RRS Autobiography and Definitely have the most wonderful Dynamic Response System option... I mean it doesn't lean a half in either way in the corners. I also have the superbly capable 2-Speed Transfer Case and Rear E-Locking Differential. However, I don't have Meridian Sound (only the 8 speaker system) and my dash is a mix of Analogue and LED Gauges instead of fully LED or Electronic Gauges which... I don't have Adaptive Cruise either though she's definitely wired for Plug N' Play Harnesses and Connections for the Adaptive Cruise hardware I verified when I had to replace a front camera while taking the entire front bumper off and disco/reconnecting the parking and safety sensor hardware, headlight washer fluid tubing, etc... I also think it's weird I don't have speed limit sign recognition capability (something that has costed me 3 tickets now) though the rearview mirror certainly has the camera unit inside the housing such operates off of as well as the sensor for Automatic Sensing Wipers (the latter I certainly do have thankfully.)

Every other option is fully loaded though. But, mine is a Mid-Year 14' and maybe that has something to do with the few things I thought every Autobiography came standard with. The only thing she doesn't have I wished she really did is the Meridian System AND adjustable pedals. I don't know if adjustable pedals is even an option though.

Anyways, hope this helps...

I found my VIN on iGuide eventually. it was a ID10T error on my end. :p
what I found was a generic Manual. Not necessarily about my car in specific.
this is useful too since my Car was originally in Italy and therefore all documents are in Italian. Useless for me.

Yes. I have 360 Deg Camera and Adaptive Cruise Control.
yes I have 21 Speaker Meridian system, heated and cooled seats with Massage. what boggles my mind is the missing Heated Steering. I see heated steering in so many non-autobiography models.
I don't have Diff Locks. I've not checked on Wade Sensing...will check.

Thanks. I have now asked my local dealer for a build-sheet. Let's see.
How hard and how expensive do you think it would be to add Diff Locks now?

Do you have the low range transfer case? (lo/hi selection in terrain response)

I have wade sensing.

Do you have the low range transfer case? (lo/hi selection in terrain response)
Yes. I do have low range. I shifted into Low range and checked.
I tried if different modes in Terrain Response will enable Diff lock. Didn't work. Hence concluded - my car doesn't have diff locks.
A bit confused now.

I've been reading that Autobiography is the king of the hill and has everything and the kitchen sink as standard equipment. Guess not.
Yes. I do have low range. I shifted into Low range and checked.
So you have central locking diff.

Did you take the car somewhere it could actually make use of locking diff? Like a sandy beach? A snowy slope? A muddy road filled with water to 20 centimeters?

Hence concluded - my car doesn't have diff locks.
You are wrong. You have at least one.

Noted.

Not yet. Just around the neighborhood.
Will try a trail in Somero, Finland in a couple of weeks from now. My neighbor, who has made his LR4 trail ready, has been talking about this trail.
Until then, will continue my own feature discovery.
The locking diff needs to have, like, an opportunity to lock. It rarely happens on paved roads.

You're spot on with your reply. I gave it the opportunity and voila..locked it did.
Didn't try to get the Rear locked but atleast I'm sure it will. Thanks
