2004 and I noticed some melting around the jump lug coming off the battery. When its running I could barely touch it! It was hot! Is there alot of resistance there? Its stays hot too, not just while starting...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

take it apart,
then put deoxit 100 on the connection,
put it back together

That was it, Stan. Didn't look corroded but there must have been quite a bit of resistance

you should take every connection apart and put the deoxit on it.
Glad that fixed your problem
